Stan Fulton

Gaming SchoolStan Fulton began his long career in gaming when he founded Fortune Coin in 1976. Under his leadership, Fortune Coin introduced the first full-color multi-line video slot machines and the first full-color video poker machines to the gaming industry.

As chairman of Anchor Gaming, Fulton developed some of the companys most successful businesses today, including the Central Station Casino and Grande Casino in Colorado and the Companys Nevada gaming-machine route business. Anchor Gaming currently has eleven companies and revenues of over 500,000,000. In September 2000, it was announced that Mr. Fulton would sell his Anchor Gaming stock to the company and in semi-retirement would buy the companys race track.

Before his entry into the gaming business, Fulton was a leader in the cable industry and he built numerous cable television systems in the eastern United States. He started his father's businesses after serving as an officer on flying status in the Air Force. Mr. Fulton received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May 1997. He was honored as a Distinguished Nevadan by UNLV in 1992, in recognition of his long-standing support of UNLV and the Las Vegas community.
