Security Surveillance Operations Seminar

December 7- 8, 2009
In recent years, surveillance camera systems have grown so large and the responsibilities of the individual surveillance and security departments increased accordingly, that a number of casino
hotels have divided surveillance duties into two separate departments.
Many casino hotels operate a gaming surveillance department to monitor and protect gaming and its support areas, and a security surveillance department to monitor and protect the hotel,
retail, back of the house, guest parking lots and the outside perimeter of the property.
With employee theft on the rise, potential litigation from guests due to injury or criminal activity, and the threat of terrorism, the security role in surveillance operations has
increased tremendously.
This course focuses on the knowledge, skills and techniques necessary for the security
surveillance operation and its individual officers to succeed.
