Introduction to Casino Management
This course is designed to identify, contrast, and compare basic casino department management procedures. At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to and apply the basic procedures of managing a casino within a resort setting. Students will examine and discuss the relationship between the casino department and other departments in a hotel/ casino environment. Course content will focus on game selection, controls, layouts, gaming development and customer service.
Gary Waters is a full-time faculty member of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Over the past 15 years, Waters has shared his gaming and hospitality knowledge and expertise by teaching courses in lodging operations, casino management, organizational theory in the service industry, educational, careers and personal development, and gaming device operations management both on campus and online.

Casino Management II
This course is designed to further identify, contrast, and compare basic casino department management procedures as studied in the Introduction to Casino Management course. Students will examine and discuss the relationship between the casino department and other departments in a hotel/casino environment and utilize supply chain management, customer relationship management, and product life-cycle management concepts to develop an overall experience.
Peter Eghoian possesses twenty-five years of combined Table Games and Slot Operations experience. He has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure, during which he was actively involved with performance analysis, project management, property acquisition, budgeting, strategic planning, hiring, department training, property training, and cultural development.

Best Practices in Casino and Gaming Protection
This course covers overall surveillance department operation and the core skills necessary for both the individual investigator, and the department, to succeed in the protection of the business. Key surveillance skills and a thorough knowledge of casino and hotel operations are stressed. Methods to protect operations and to detect cheating at gaming, advantage play and internal and external theft and fraud are provided.
Derk Boss, CFP, CPP, CSP, is a respected author, instructor, and speaker, specializing in the fields of surveillance training and methodology, gaming protection, loss prevention, and the detection of internal and external theft and fraud. Robert Prady, CHS PSNA, is the Security Business Manager at ATS Alaska. Gaming Security Operations
This course is designed for supervisors, managers, new directors, and other security professionals interested in furthering their knowledge of Gaming Security Operations.
